In response to the growing national and regional demand for professionals specializing in Internet of Things (IoT) and emerging technologies, Hormuud University officially announces the establishment of the 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 (𝐈𝐨𝐓).
The department will offer an undergraduate academic program leading to the 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 (𝐈𝐨𝐓), designed to prepare competent graduates with the knowledge and practical skills needed to design, develop, and manage connected devices, IoT systems, sensors, networks, and data-driven technologies, and to contribute effectively to the IoT and technology sectors.
