In response to the growing national and regional demand for skilled professionals in digital security, and data protection, Hormuud University officially announces the establishment of the 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐲𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲.
The department will offer an undergraduate academic program leading to the 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐲𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲, designed to prepare competent graduates with the knowledge and practical skills needed to protect digital systems, networks, data, and information infrastructure, and to contribute effectively to the cybersecurity and technology sectors.
