Recognizing the importance of Islamic scholarship, the study of Islamic heritage, and the development of graduates with solid knowledge and a strong understanding of Islamic thought and its contemporary applications, Hormuud University officially announces the establishment of the Faculty of Usul Al-Din and Islamic Heritage.
The new faculty is established to prepare a new generation of scholars and professionals with comprehensive knowledge of the Qur’an, Sunnah, Aqeedah, Fiqh, Islamic communication, and Islamic heritage and civilization, with an emphasis on academic understanding, research, community engagement, and applying Islamic knowledge to contemporary societal needs.
The faculty will offer the following undergraduate programs:
